I don’t usually leave reviews, My car was keyed, and I got a few different estimates, and they were by far the most reasonably priced without making me feel like I was sacrificing quality. They were quick and were the only shop that sent the estimate right after we spoke. Everyone was so kind, and understanding. They made the whole experience so much less stressful. When I got my car it looked like the damage had never happened. Also they even took the time to fix some extra things on my car at no charge. So thankful we went with them. Seemed like the genuinely cared about the situation, costumers and the quality of work. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs auto body work. Thank you again for exceeding my expectations.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this shop was beyond disappointing. I brought my vehicle in because it needed valve cover gasket/ cam seal work with coil and spark plugs. I was sent an estimate, reviewed it, and signed and approved it. The estimate clearly included the valve cover gasket repair. After they had already started working on my vehicle, I was told that the repair listed on the signed estimate was supposedly “a mistake” and that they were no longer going to honor it. Instead of calling me before starting the job, they changed the scope of the repair after the fact. That’s completely unacceptable. A signed estimate should mean something. To make matters worse, they only replaced my spark plugs and ignition coils and expected me to pay approximately $1,900 for that work, while refusing to perform the valve cover gasket repair that I had actually authorized. Had I known they weren’t going to honor the signed estimate, I would have never approved the repair in the first place. If i wouldn’t ask about it, they would have just only done the spark plugs and coil without the seal. The communication was poor, the estimate was not honored, and I completely lost confidence in the service department. I expected honesty and transparency, but instead I felt misled throughout the process.
If you’re looking for a honest and trustworthy repair shop I’m telling you that Chestnut Auto is the place to go. My wife had her entire car trunk keyed and I decided to call Chestnut Auto for an estimate which we received that same day. They were very clear on their solution and we knew we were in good hands. Long story short we got the car today and they did an amazing job, I wish I could give you guys 10 stars! Here’s what it looked like after, can’t even tell it got keyed.
The Chestnut Auto team provided me with excellent communication, a clear inspection report, and got my AC working like brand new, all in one day!

Had an amazing experience with Chestnut auto. I was in fender bender and they made my car look brand new—while we were waiting for parts to be delivered, my trunk stopped opening. They could have up charged me for this but told me honestly that it was likely related to my fender. Sure enough, once my back fender was replaced, trunk was fine and my costs at the end of the day were exactly what they quoted me. They even cleaned my car! Also loved working with Carrie!
